Prior to the Psoriasis Foundation, Mr. Driskell led a team of advocates at ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer, formerly the National Prostate Cancer Coalition, which successfully fought against a $16 million cut in cancer research and helped write legislation designed to establish a council of federal agencies, patients, and medical experts charged with drafting and implementing a national strategy to combat prostate cancer.
On Capitol Hill, Mr. Driskell worked for US Senator Johnny Isakson and served as a government affairs representative for two educational organizations where he focused on a range of policy issues and managed a government portfolio of over $5 million.
Mr. Driskell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Leadership Studies from Morehouse College; a Master of Theological Ethics in Religion and Society from Harvard University; a Master’s in Legislative Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Lobbying and Political Action Committees at The Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University.
Mr. Driskell is also an adjunct professor of legislative affairs at The George Washington University.
